Job Description: Our client, located in the Goondiwindi District, operates an impressive 30,000 acre broadacre farming enterprise. Situated within a 45-minute drive of the country town of Goondiwindi, this operation focuses on cultivating a variety of winter and summer crops. This role is ideally suited to an individual with significant experience in a broadacre farming operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining a range of Agricultural machinery
- Utilising GPS systems
- Documenting spray rates and maintaining accurate records
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Communicating effectively with the owner and manager to ensure smooth operation of the property
- Performing maintenance on machinery, ensuring equipment is kept to a high standard
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience with farming machinery
- Proficiency in using GPS systems
- Valid Chemical Accreditation
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Willingness to work independently and communicate efficiently with the owner and manager
