Job Description: Our client operates 28,000-hectares across three cattle properties located near Moura, QLD, and is undertaking significant property developments. They are seeking a skilled Machinery Operator with solid mechanical skills to join their team in a long-term role. A part-time position is available for the partner in a Admin/Domestic role. This role will be tailored to the skillset of the applicant. The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team, operating a variety of earthmoving machinery including CAT graders, loaders, excavators, skid steers, and tractors.

Responsibilities include:

• Constructing trough and tank pads
• Clearing fence lines
• Building and maintaining property roads
• Installing water infrastructure, including tanks, troughs, and poly pipe
• Supporting overall property development goals

Requirements:

• Experience operating earthmoving machinery
• Strong mechanical skills, including servicing, pre-start checks, and greasing, troubleshooting, and general maintenance
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions
• A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow safety protocols and property development plans
• HR or HC licence preferred
• Welding and Fabrication experience

This role offers a generous salary package, including meat, internet allowance, and an electricity allowance. On-farm accommodation is provided in a partially renovated 3-bedroom home. Located just 35 km from Moura, the property has access to local schooling and is within a 2.5-hour drive of Rockhampton, offering larger amenities and the Queensland coastline for weekend getaways.
